The Mazda Live Experience

In early 2021, Mazda launched the MX-30, its first-ever electric vehicle. The problem? Most Canadians still weren’t exactly spending their weekends wandering dealership floors.

So Mazda brought the showroom to them. The Mazda Live Experience gave people one-on-one or group tours of the MX-30 from the comfort of home, guided by real Mazda brand ambassadors inside a custom-built virtual showroom.

We filmed the spot remotely, naturally, to show how easy it was to get up close and personal with Mazda’s first EV while keeping a very 2021 amount of distance.

Kizuna Member Welcome Kit

Before Mazda made cars, it made cork.

For the brand’s 100th anniversary, we turned that origin story into something its most loyal customers could hold. Kizuna was an exclusive invite-only club for lifelong Mazda enthusiasts, created to celebrate the bond between driver and brand.

The welcome kit centred on a custom cork-and-steel key ring: part heritage, part modern design object. Japanese-inspired patterns carried through the key ring and folder, with Kizuna in katakana placed at the centre as a symbol of the bond between Mazda’s past, present, and the loyal enthusiasts who have been with them for the ride.
